Originally from Maryland, Timothy graduated from Goldey-Beacom College, in Wilmington, Delaware, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He then moved on to pursue a law career by attending and graduting from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. After moving to Georgia in 1998 and passing the Georgia Bar Exam, Timothy assumed ownership of the practice of Charles H. Lumpkin, Jr., in Carrollton, where he currently maintains a successful practice in a positive working atmosphere.
Timothy was president of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Vice President of the Student Government Association, President of the Residential Student Association, Vice President of Greek Council, and was awarded the Clarence A. Fulmer Leadership award. He is very active in his Carrollton community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Carroll County Emergency Shelter and the Carroll Rape Crisis Center.
In 2004, Timothy was awarded the "Rising Star Award" from his alma mater. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Georgia and was recognized as a member of "Who's Who in Executives in Business."
